2x6: New Music from Scotland & Spain
The first Touch Sensitive compilation album, ‘2x6’, will be released on Friday 8 June. It will feature six bands from Scotland and six from Spain. The Scottish bands are: Burnt Island, Plastic Animals, Randolph’s Leap, The Son(s), Young Spooks and Zoey van Goey; The Spanish bands are: Betunizer, Chiquita y Chatarra, Elle Belga, Hans Laguna i Albert Balasch, La Muñeca de Sal and No Parfum.
The album will be released as a free digital download, and if things go to plan, it will be the first of three compilations we release in 2012. You can listen to tracks from the album here.
Album Launch
The album will be launched at The Old Hairdressers, Renfield Lane, Glasgow (opposite Stereo) on Friday 8 June. There will be live sets from Adam Ross (Randolph’s Leap), Plastic Animals and special guests, If You Lived Here, You’d Be Home By Now.
Adam Ross will be giving a special performance of Randolph’s Leap’s album ‘The Curse of the Haunted Headphones’ and there will be a free, limited edition 2x6 CD for all those who attend. Tickets cost £6 + booking fee, and can be bought here.
